Happy Thanksgiving
A Franco-American rapprochment must be on the horizon. On the Eurostar down to Paris from London a group of two American couples were feasting on a whole turkey and champagne on the train ride down. One of the American woman in the group, when we exited the tunnel and were in France, exclaimed: "We're in France now!"--in almost jubilant tone.
Who would have thought?
