Guardian Pulls Wolfy Story The

Guardian Pulls Wolfy Story

The Guardian, likely because of the rapid blogosphere attention and heavy criticism of significant distortions in their recent Wolfowitz article (first detailed here in the post immediately below), has pulled the article from their website. Predictably, however, the distorted story has already made its way into other media outlets. The question is--will the Guardian now issue a correction? According to this report, they plan to tomorrow.

UPDATE: In somewhat related news (sloppy Dowdified journalism, Jayson, Bragg etc), it's bye-bye to Howell (and Gerald) over at W. 43rd St. Quick Mickey Kaus-- update that Howell-O-Meter.

FURTHER UPDATE: The Guardian's correction is up on their main Internet page. (Now shifted to the corrections section).
