Meyerson to Bush: You're a "Belligerent Provincial"

Another anti-Bush screed from uber-sophisticate Harold Meyerson of the American Prospect.

The opening graf sets the tone:

"Save for the continuing search for its justification, the war in Iraq is over. For the United States, if not yet for Iraq, the consequences are clear. We have established yet again the utter supremacy of our hard power."

No mention of continuing firefights killing U.S. GI's. And then reliance on some polling data to round out the rest of the op-ed. Better than Dowd's ruminations about whether Bill Clinton is going Euro because he wears Zegna suits (see post immediately below)--but not by much.
