Noah's Journey
Old college bud Noah Shachtman (of the excellent Defense Tech) spent a good chunk of the summer in Iraq. A chronicle of his time spent there
can be found here. Meantime, he found soldier morale higher than many might expect--though he caveats that many of the personnel he spoke to were based at the "poshest military base" he's ever seen.. Anyway, go check out Noah's diaries and pics, they make for interesting reading.

Who needs Democracy when Progressive Socialists armed to the hilt with empty platitudes will save the day. Send in Chavez and his "kill all the poor people' policy to bomb away the rotten idea of Liberty!
(I don't know which is more fun, watching a grassroots movement of a people rise to build their own self-determined Nation or ridiculing the anti-liberators who wish to destroy all hope left in humanity)
